Introduction

Email to Text provides an incredibly simple and intuitive way to send text messages from any email application.

Whether to a single recipient or a large group, you can send a message with a few clicks of the mouse. Email to Text is ideal for business use, making text messaging facilities available to many people within your organisation.

Unlike many of our competitors, we do not insist that emails are formatted in a particular way. Our Email to Text system is open and easy to use. No special training or lengthy processes are required – all you need to remember is the email address to send it to.

Email to Text in practice

toText is available to support the smooth running of a sports therapy business which requires text messaging to contact its large team of mobile staff members. Their head office can quickly contact staff using our Email to Text service. When a request from a customer is received, the appointment coordinator can easily send texts to check staff availability. Head office can also send out name and address information using the service.

Getting Started...

Once you have registered an account with us, it's a simple process to use the Email to Text service:

a) Create your email

The email must contain the mobile phone number followed by @totext.net in the "To:" field, 07807908266@totext.net, for example.

You can include more than one recipient in the email if you wish.

Please bear in mind that if the mobile that you're sending to is not in your home country, then you'll need to include the international dial code: e.g. 447807908266@totext.net

b) Send your email

Once toText have received your mail, we'll convert it into a text message and send it to the mobile number you gave us.

c) We send a receipt

When the text message is delivered, we'll send you an email to say what time it was received.

d) Intercepting and receiving replies

If the person who you sent the message to replies, we'll receive their text messages and send it to you in an email. The address that we'll use is the one you sent the original email from.
