Introduction

Web to Text allows you to send text messages from this web site, using a computer. The service is accessed through a standard web browser and there is no need to install any other software. You can send messages to either an individual number, or to groups of numbers stored in your online address book. Once the message has been sent, the message page shows you when each one is delivered and all the replies that are received.

Using the service, the deployment manager keeps in touch with the technicians to obtain status updates with regards to current projects. Issues or problems arising during a project are sent by text from staff back to head office for resolution.

Getting started

Once you have registered an account with us, simply follow these steps:

1. Create

Enter the mobile number into the box on the "Send a Message" page. Please note that if the mobile that you're sending to is not in your home country, then you'll need to include the international dial code: e.g. 447807908266. You can send to several people at the same time by adding more mobile numbers, or by selecting entries from your online address book.

2. Send

Then enter the text message and hit ‘Send’. We’ll then forward the message to the mobile number(s) that you gave us.

3. Receiving replies and receipts

When the text message is delivered we'll update the message page to say what time it was received. If the people who received the message send a reply, we'll update the message page with the texts that they sent.
